Generations of JP Q&A- Lauren

I am so grateful to have LL in my life. We met almost 20 years ago when she worked in retail and I was selling my costume jewelry line at the store where she worked. We’ve been friends ever since. I love her family as if they were my own, so when I was thinking about those who truly embody Three Generations of JP, of course she was top of mind alongside her mom and her daughter.

Lauren and I have shared so many fun and meaningful moments over the years. She was in my wedding, and now our babies are dear friends. We’ve danced the night away and stood by each other through everything. We also work together, as Lauren styles all of my JP shoots—she has an incredible eye for beauty, and I always turn to her for her opinion on all things fashion.

I am so in love with these photos of Lauren with her precious daughter, Evie, and her amazing mama, Vicki. I adore these women and feel so flattered—and truly seen—by the way LL says her JP jewels make her feel.

xx Jane

How does it feel when you put on your favorite JP piece?
Effortless, timeless, and special.

Are there particular moments or memories that JP brings to mind?
I have been so lucky to receive beautiful JP pieces from my husband and parents. David gave me rings with our children's' birthstones when they were born. I wear them stacked with my wedding rings. And the fingerprint necklace was under the Christmas tree one year. I love having David, Evie, and Hugh's fingerprint and Filly, our doggie's nose print draped near my heart everyday.

How would you describe jewelry that truly feels like you?
Jewelry that is authentically me are pieces that can feel just as at home worn with a white tee and denim as they do with a dress.

Is there a piece of jewelry you hope to pass down - or receive - one day?
I am so in love with the diamond line necklace. It is an enduring classic and a treasure I will pass down to Evie one day.

In one word, how would you describe the relationship between these generations of women?
Cherished.

What story does your JP jewelry tell?
My JP jewelry tells the story of everyday. Worn while making dinner, folding laundry, driving carpool, holding babies, going to dinner with friends, laughing with family. It's jewelry that gathered stories of my life. Jewelry that feels like skin- never too precious to live in!
