FAQs

What happens after I submit my order via your website?

Your credit card will be charged when your order is placed. The funds are not automatically transferred to JP (the merchant) and we reserve the right to hold shipment until they have been received. Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received.  We make many of the pieces to order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your order will take up to seven days to process, if we have the item in hand. If the item needs to be sized or made to order, it may take 2 weeks for your Jane Pope order to ship. You are welcome to email us at info@janepopejewelry.com to inquire about when a piece will be available to ship out.

If you need something by a specific date or would like to expedite shipping, please send us an email at info@janepopejewelry.com. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.

Are the pictures online to scale?

We do our best to make the photos on the JP website as close to actual size as possible, but the pictures are not to scale. Most of the pieces have secondary images showing the item worn, which will give you a good idea of size and scale. We have also included measurements of the pieces. If you have any questions regarding the size of a particular item, please contact us at info@janpopejewelry.com. We will be happy to answer your questions.

Can I replace a lost earring?

Many of the earrings are sold as singles directly through the website. If we don’t have the style available online, JP may ask you to send the mate to the studio, at your cost, so we can match it for you. A few styles are produced for one season only and may not be available at the time of the request.  Please email us at info@janepopejewelry.com to discuss before shipping anything to the studio.

Does the jewelry come with a box?

Yes. Each order arrives in a custom JP gift box.

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

Unfortunately, JPJ cannot ship to a P.O. Box. JPJ ships via ups, who does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

Can I return a gift?

A piece received as a gift may be returned for a credit towards another jp purchase within 30 days, if it qualifies for the exchange in our returns policy. The customer returning the piece is responsible for all shipping charges.

Please email us with the purchaser’s information and order number, so that we can locate the purchase in our system. The item will need to be returned in all of its original packaging within a week of the email with ra#. If the item is not returned in its original packaging, there will be a restocking fee of $15 which will be deducted from the credit.

What is your privacy policy?

JP will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. Any information JP collects is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to notify you via email of promotions and upcoming sales. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, you may opt out by changing your email notifications status.

All order information sent to janepopejewelry.com is encrypted. We protect your online transactions by using secure sockets layer (ssl) technology.

What is your repair policy?

At JP, quality and craftsmanship are of our top priority. However, jewelry by its very nature is delicate. If you should experience the need for repair on any JP item, email info@janepopejewelry.com. Please include your name, address, order number and repair issue. JP will email a repair authorization number, which must be clearly labeled on the return package.

JP will repair at no charge any breakage caused by defect within 120 days of purchase. Repairs needed after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customer’s expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis. There is a ups shipping charge for all repairs. Gift cards/store credit cannot be used on repair charges. When your repair is ready, JP will send you a link to pay the balance and shipping to return your item to you.

JP only accepts repairs for items purchased on janepopejewelry.com. Repairs for items purchased at one of our retailers must be returned through the original point of purchase and cannot be accepted through janepopejewelry.com.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted and, therefore, delicate. Please use appropriate care to enjoy your piece for a long time. The majority of the JP collection consists of 14k gold and, although it can be cleaned with a polishing cloth or jewelry cleaner, we suggest leaving the job to a professional.

JP uses natural gemstones, which vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in natural stones…a part of their beauty. Most gemstones do not stand the force of cleaning agents, polishing cloth or ultrasonic cleaners.

Once you've decided to move forward with the process, we'll gain a sense of your preferences and vision through our JP Custom Experience form.

After receiving your form, the JP team will collaborate with you to craft your design and follow up with a proposal before moving forward with the process.
