Three Generations of JP Q&A- Adele
Where do I even begin when it comes to introducing the most important and influential woman in my life?
My mom was a true pioneer in her field of law—and in being a career woman at a time when that wasn’t the norm. So much of my own determination and grit in business comes from watching her pour herself into work she genuinely loves. She showed me what dedication, resilience, and passion look like in real life.
Beyond her impressive career, she’s the most incredible grandmother to my kiddos and my nieces. She adores her five grandkids and spoils them completely (as grandmothers should!).
She also happens to be absolutely gorgeous—though she’d never admit it. She hates having her photo taken more than anyone I know, but when you catch her not looking down or turning away from the camera, her beauty truly shines. She’d probably prefer I skip mentioning her age, but I can only hope I look and feel as amazing as she does at 82. I’m beyond grateful for the good genes—and even more grateful for her.
xx Jane
How does it feel when you put on your favorite JP piece?Special. Are there particular moments or memories that JP brings to mind?I always think of my only daughter and her many phases of life. How would you describe jewelry that truly feels like you?I wear simple clothes, mostly black. Putting on my wedding ring, the ring my husband gave me after 15 years of marriage, and then finishing up with a lovely little JP necklace makes me feel ready for the day. Sometimes I wear a Balboa piece. I love those funky pieces Jane made before JP Jewelry. Is there a piece of jewelry you hope to pass down - or receive - one day?I have earrings my grandmother gave me that I have worn to parties and loved for 50 years. I hope they, and my special JP pieces, will enjoy the same happy life with my granddaughters. In one word, how would you describe the relationship between these generations of women?Exhilarating. What story does your JP jewelry tell? The lovely thing about JP jewelry is that each piece tells its own story.
